The Diploma in Filmmaking provides students with a complete understanding of the filmmaking process—from concept to screen. This includes pre-production, production, post-production, marketing, and distribution. Whether you aim to direct, write, edit, or produce, this program equips you with the creative and technical skills to thrive in the modern Creative & Entertainment industry. Delivered by experienced professionals with over 20 years in the field, the course combines academic insight with industry practices, balancing film theory and hands-on filmmaking.

Course Structure

The program is delivered in two semesters over 11 months:

  • Semester 1 (6 Months – Online) – Foundation Level
  • Focuses on theory, storytelling, and core concepts of filmmaking:
    • Module 1: Introduction to Filmmaking
    • Module 2: Storytelling (Scriptwriting)
    • Module 4: Editing Principles and Techniques
    • Module 6: Producing

Upon successful completion of Semester 1, students will receive a Foundation Diploma in Filmmaking.

  • Semester 2 (5 Months – On-Campus) – Practical Application
  • Emphasizes hands-on learning and real-world application:
    • Module 3: Cinematography
    • Module 5: Directing

Students who complete both semesters (online and on-campus) will be awarded the Diploma in Filmmaking.
